COURSE REGISTRATION
Students will register for next year's classes in January/February of the current school year.

Each student receives a copy of his/her transcript, has discussions with core subject teachers regarding appropriate class placement for next year.

Students are encouraged to discuss course offerings and selections with parents/guardians prior to final course registration.

AIHS supports open-access admission to any of the following IB programs:

VALEDICTORIAN and SALUTATORIAN REQUIREMENTS
The Valedictorian(s) and Salutatorian(s) must meet the following requirements:

The Valedictorian will be the individual with the highest UNWEIGHTED grade point average. Must have attended Alameda for at least two years, and have completed a minimum of six (6) IB DP courses in the Junior and Senior Year; three (3) courses per year.

The Salutatorian(s) will be the next highest UNWEIGHTED grade point average meeting the same requirements as Valedictorian.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
Jefferson County Public Schools requires a minimum of 23 credits for graduation.
*As an IB School, AIHS students generally take at least two years of the same world language.
